• "Hi, I’m Sam Forward. I am 17 years old and I am from Australia. I came to Norway on the 19th of January and have been here for about 5 and a half months."
• "... I grew up in Mandurah Western Australia, which is about and hour drive south of Perth, the capital of WA. Western Australia’s population is about 2.5 million, 10% of Australia’s 25 million. And in Mandurah there is approximately 97 000...."
• "With Rotary exchange I have grown up with my family hosting a few students which encouraged me to be a part of the program when I was old enough. I chose to go to a Scandinavian country and I ended up with Norway. It is definitely very different to what I’m used to at home with food (goat's cheese) and social aspects such as taking shoes off before going in a house  This year so far has definitely been interesting, Rotary tries to prepare you for difficult situations that can occur while your abroad but no one expected a global pandemic to happen. So I far I have been alright though. School is a bit difficult especially because most of it is still on line and in Norwegian. Its been quite hard to follow along and understand what is being asked but I have managed."
